We are looking for a senior IT executive who will act as a right hand to the CIO, supporting in leading IT to become a business-oriented and highly effective organization as a
Head of IT Service & Portfolio Management (f/m/d) 100%
Your daily contribution:
Lead enterprise-wide IT governance, portfolio management, demand management, and performance management
Define and implement IT operating models, methodologies, processes, and tools across the organization
Ensure IT invests in the right priorities while delivering projects and services efficiently and effectively
Oversee the IT project portfolio, ensuring timely delivery, quality execution, and alignment with business objectives
Drive cross-functional collaboration and remove organizational silos to enable seamless project and service delivery
Manage IT financials, budgeting, vendor relationships, contracts, outsourcing partners, and audit requirements
Develop and continuously improve core IT processes, including demand, change, incident, vendor, contract, and problem management
Establish KPIs, dashboards, and executive reporting to measure performance, increase transparency, and drive continuous improvement
Build and develop high-performing teams, contribute to IT strategy, and promote a customer-centric, connected company culture
Your Profile:
Degree in Computer Science or Business administration or equivalent professional qualification, preferred MBA
Extensive understanding and track record in IT Service Management, Service Definition, Service Implementation and Service Operations
Ideally having been in the role of CIO Office Manager, or as a CIO advisory Consultant
relevant certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, etc., preferably not entry certificates but advanced training
Practical in-depth experience in the definition and implementation of IT Operating Models
Expertise in budget planning, financial management and work-force management
Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs
Experience with globally distributed cross-functional teams
Extensive Experience in delivering IT projects, IT project methodology and frameworks, and PMO leadership
Experience in change and transformation management
Your Personality:
Ability to differentiate between a relevant trend and hype
Able to work with senior leadership and confidence in communication at all levels
Strong business partner, ability to quickly adapt the company's business and processes
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and changeable industrial environment
Fluency in English, German a plus
