About the Role
The Demand Planner is responsible for forecasting, planning, and aligning customer demand with operational capacity across both RotzingerTransver sites.
The role ensures optimal resource utilization, material availability, and delivery reliability, while supporting cost efficiency and service level targets.
The Demand Planner acts as a central interface between Sales, Project Management, Production, Purchasing, and Logistics, translating demand signals into executable plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage short‑, mid‑, and long‑term demand forecasts
- Consolidate inputs from Sales, Projects, and Customers into a single demand plan
- Analyze data, order intake, and pipelines to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Translate demand into capacity and resource requirements
- Identify constraints early and drive mitigation actions
- Coordinate and balance workload across sites
- Support and contribute to S&OP and demand review processes
- Monitor planning KPIs and ensure data accuracy in planning systems
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalization in planning processes
What You Need to Be Successful
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or similar
- 3–5+ years of experience in demand planning, production planning, or supply chain planning
- Experience in complex, project‑driven, engineered‑to‑order, or industrial environments preferred
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross‑functional coordination
- Experience with ERP/planning tools and advanced Excel
- Fluent in English; German is a strong asset (basic level is enough)
