Export Area Manager – Europe
We are seeking an experienced Export Area Manager to oversee and expand our clients business across European markets. This role is responsible for driving commercial growth, strengthening existing partnerships, and identifying new business opportunities throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow business across assigned European markets while identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to support business development.
- Contribute to the implementation of regional sales and business development plans.
- Manage commercial relationships with distributors and key customers.
- Support marketing initiatives and ensure effective execution of promotional activities.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and distribution partnerships.
- Work closely with internal teams, including logistics and customer service, to ensure efficient order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
- Provide product training and commercial support to distributor teams where required.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across healthcare, pharmaceutical, and related sectors.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of 10 years' experience in export sales, international business development, or a comparable commercial role within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or OTC sector.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related discipline; a scientific or technical background would be advantageous.
- Good understanding of international trade, distribution networks, and supply chain processes.
- Fluent English is essential; knowledge of French or other European languages would be beneficial.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
- Self-motivated, commercially minded, and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently in an international environment.
Pay: CHF80’000.00 - CHF100’000.00 per year
