Your Role & Responsibility

Specify, design & implement development-near automated tests (unit, integration, API & GUI tests).

Build, maintain & further develop test automation frameworks.

Integrate automated tests into the Jenkins pipeline including automatic reporting.

Perform GUI test automation using tools such as Selenium (Selenide, Cypress).
-
Ensure structured, transparent & evaluable documentation of test execution in Jira/Confluence.
-
Report & track bugs in Jira.
-
Perform manual testing based on user stories & bugs.
-
Support the implementation of load & performance tests.
-
Support the implementation of automated security tests.
-
Participate in Scrum & SAFe meetings.
-
Collaborate & consult with the PO & development teams.
-
Actively advise the PO, SM & development team on QA & testing issues.

If required, support in the development of user stories.

Apply strong debugging skills to analyze defects & improve quality.
Required Technical & Professional Expertise
-
Completed higher technical education in computer science or business informatics or equivalent practical experience.
-
Strong experience as Test Automation Engineer (SDET).
-
Experience in development-near automated testing (unit, integration, API & GUI tests).
-
Experience in building test automation frameworks & integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
-
Proficiency in programming languages Java (Spring, Spring Boot).

Experience with frontend technologies (Angular).
-
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL).
-
Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, AssertJ & CDC.
-
Experience with Selenium (Selenide, Cypress) & Allure.
-
Knowledge of tools like Jira/Confluence & relevant test plugins (XRay, Zephyr).

Experience with Docker & Microservices is an advantage.

Quick comprehension, high commitment & sense of responsibility.

Certified at minimum ISTQB CTFL.
-
Impeccable German & good English skills.
