Overview
This is a strategic and hands-on role, responsible for developing existing distributor partnerships while identifying new business opportunities across Europe. Working closely with senior leadership, you will define commercial priorities, execute market strategies and play a key role in expanding the company's international presence.
The position offers significant autonomy and regular international travel across Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the commercial strategy across assigned European markets.
- Manage and grow a network of international distributors, ensuring strong commercial performance and long-term partnerships.
- Identify new market opportunities and drive business development across existing and emerging territories.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and distribution contracts with senior stakeholders.
- Work closely with distributor leadership teams to maximise sales performance and market penetration.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Supply Chain and Customer Service to ensure successful execution of commercial plans.
- Support product launches and implement effective marketing initiatives tailored to local market needs.
- Deliver product and commercial training to distributor sales teams where required.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide regular business reviews, sales forecasts and strategic recommendations to senior management.
About You
We're looking for an experienced international commercial professional who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and enjoys building long-term business partnerships.
You will ideally have:
- 10+ years' experience in an international sales, export or area management role within the pharmaceutical, OTC, consumer healthcare or medical nutrition sectors.
- Proven experience managing and developing distributor networks across multiple European markets.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills with experience engaging senior decision-makers and executive-level stakeholders.
- A solid understanding of international trade, export operations and supply chain processes.
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a small international team.
- Excellent commercial acumen with a proactive and solutions-focused approach.
- Fluent English and French are essential. Additional European languages would be advantageous.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel regularly across Europe.

Pay: CHF90’000.00 - CHF140’000.00 per year
