The ServiceNow Solution Designer/Architect is a subject matter expert responsible for designing and specifying technical solutions in ServiceNow projects. He/she works closely with the development team to implement and manage functionalities on the ServiceNow platforms of Sword’s clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Act as a subject matter expert on the ServiceNow platform and take ownership of solution design

Support development teams in configuring standard applications (Service Catalog, Service Portal, Incident, Change, Problem, Knowledge, etc.) as well as developing new applications using ServiceNow features

Especially on modules CSM, SPM and ITAM

Participate in gathering business and technical requirements and in implementation documentation

Integrate ServiceNow with external tools (SCCM, Intune, SAP, etc.)

Develop test cases

Promote best practices
EXPERIENCE / SKILLS
-
At least 4 years of experience with ServiceNow
-
Experience implementing and customizing at least 2 major ServiceNow modules including: CSM, SPM, ITAM

Deep experience with Portal, Workflows, Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Actions, UI Policies, ACLs, and Notifications
Platform Administration

Performance monitoring and issue mitigation

User, group, and role management
-
Upgrades, etc.
Technical Skills
-
Experience with: HTML, CSS, XML, JavaScript, PowerShell, Perl, and Python

Experience integrating third-party tools using REST and SOAP

Experience with LDAP integration, Mid-servers, etc.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

ITILv3 certification is preferred

ServiceNow Administrator and Implementation Specialist certifications are required

Any additional ServiceNow certification is a plus
EDUCATION / LANGUAGE

BA/BS in Computer Science or Information Technology
