Design and build scalable cloud platforms on Microsoft Azure, driving architecture, security, and cloud innovation for next-generation products in a fast-paced engineering environment.

Act as the Cloud Architect within the Cloud & Infrastructure team and collaborate with architects across other domains to define the overall system architecture

Lead the Cloud & Infrastructure squad until the permanent Team Lead joins, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and successful sprint delivery

Design and implement a secure, scalable multi-tenant cloud platform, including APIs and integration patterns connecting robots, edge devices, cloud services, and enterprise systems

Stay hands-on by contributing to code repositories, pull requests, prototyping, troubleshooting, and turning architectural decisions into production-ready solutions

Drive non-functional requirements including availability, scalability, latency, security, reliability, and cost optimization

Establish security-by-design principles covering IAM, encryption, secrets management, and network segmentation while ensuring regulatory compliance

Guide engineering teams through architecture reviews, code reviews, reference architectures, and technical mentoring

Collaborate closely with Product Management, leadership, and solution architects to define roadmaps and customer integrations

Balance rapid delivery with long-term robustness, maintainability, and operational efficiency

Support industrialization and operations by implementing SRE practices, observability, incident readiness, and production troubleshooting

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

Proven experience designing and implementing cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure, from architecture through production deployment

Strong understanding of Azure networking, storage, compute, multi-tenant environments, and cloud architecture best practices

Hands-on experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform or similar), Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and automation frameworks

Strong architectural and implementation skills with the ability to design, build, prototype, and troubleshoot cloud solutions

Experience leading technical initiatives or sub-projects within startup, scale-up, or research-driven environments

Experience mentoring cloud engineers and supporting high-quality technical delivery

Ability to work in fast-moving environments where requirements evolve continuously

Strong understanding of cloud security, governance, availability, scalability, and cost optimization

Experience with cloud governance, landing zone design, monitoring, observability, or SRE practices is considered an advantage

Familiarity with AWS, GCP, on-premises infrastructure, IoT, industrial systems (ERP/MES/SCADA), robotics, or PKI is beneficial

Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert are considered a plus

Strong communication skills with the ability to act as the primary cloud expert for research and engineering teams
