Cisco Network Engineer with Firewall expertise – Bank in Lugano:
DB&L is seeking, for a major banking client based in Ticino, a Network Systems Engineer with good expertise in Cisco technologies and knowledge of firewalls, ideally Check Point.
Main Responsibilities
Design, configuration, management and maintenance of the network infrastructure based on Cisco technologies (routing, switching, wireless, etc.)
Management, configuration and monitoring of firewalls (preferably Check Point)
Implementation and updating of network security policies
Advanced troubleshooting of network and security issues
Collaboration with IT and Security teams to ensure high availability, performance and regulatory compliance
Technical documentation and support for internal/external audits
Requirements
Proven experience (at least 3-5 years) in managing Cisco networks (CCNA/CCNP or equivalent preferred)
Good knowledge of firewalls and network security technologies; preference for Check Point (Check Point CCSA/CCSE or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with network protocols, VPN, NAT, ACLs, network segmentation and security best practices
Ability to work in banking or highly regulated environments (previous experience in the financial sector is a plus)
Good knowledge of Italian; technical English required
