About the Role
We are seeking experienced and passionate Spa Therapists to join the wellness team of a luxury hotel and spa destination in Switzerland. The successful candidates will deliver exceptional guest experiences through a range of professional massage and beauty treatments while maintaining the highest standards of service, hygiene, and guest care.
This position is ideal for therapists who are equally confident performing body treatments, massage therapies, and beauty treatments, and who are committed to providing a personalised luxury wellness experience.
Key Responsibilities
Spa Treatments
- Deliver a wide range of massage treatments, including full body, relaxation, therapeutic, and wellness-focused massages.
- Perform professional beauty treatments including facials, body treatments, manicures, pedicures, and other spa services according to training and qualifications.
- Conduct guest consultations to understand individual needs and recommend suitable treatments.
- Adapt treatments based on guest preferences, health conditions, and wellness goals.
- Ensure all treatments are delivered consistently according to established spa standards and protocols.
Guest Experience
- Create a welcoming, relaxing, and professional environment for all guests.
- Build strong relationships with guests through exceptional service and attention to detail.
- Provide advice on skincare, wellness, and homecare products where appropriate.
- Promote spa services, wellness programmes, and retail products.
- Ensure guest confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Spa Operations
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after each appointment.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation standards throughout the spa.
- Ensure equipment, products, linens, and supplies are properly maintained and stocked.
- Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as required.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Spa Therapists, Reception, Wellness Coaches, and Spa Management to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Participate in training programmes and continuous professional development.
- Support spa events, wellness programmes, and promotional activities when required.
Candidate Profile
- Recognised qualification in Beauty Therapy, Spa Therapy, Massage Therapy, or a related field.
- Previous experience working in a luxury spa, wellness retreat, resort, or 4- or 5-star hotel spa.
- Strong practical experience in:
- Full body massage treatments
- Relaxation and wellness massage techniques
- Facial treatments
- Beauty treatments
- Body treatments and rituals
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and presentation.
- Passion for wellness, guest care, and hospitality.
- Flexible and team-oriented approach.
Language Requirements
- Good German preferred
- English required
- Additional languages are an advantage
