Bilingual Summer Camp Volunteer
Volunteer position: Camper "Buddy" - Non-paid volunteer position.
Description: Volunteer ‘Buddy’s’ guide, support, and motivate campers as they enjoy all that the camp has to offer. They are role models, companions and guardians for the campers and always embody an inclusive attitude. Volunteer ‘Buddy’s’ join in all activities and outings, monitor camper participation and yet connect, where possible, as an equal. They are positive, proactive, collaborative and caring while focusing on giving campers a fun, safe and inclusive camp experience. A successful ‘Buddy’ is upbeat, is willing to challenge themselves, is open to feedback, is willing to follow instructions, is responsible and arrives on time.
Hours:
All day: from 08h30 until 16h45
Morning shift: from 08h30 until 13h30
Afternoon shift: from 13h00 until 17h15
Lunch shift: from 11h30 until 14h30
Minimum commitment: 1 week

ASK Bilingual Camp is an inclusive program, dedicated to offering a special haven for children and teenagers aged 3-17 who have Learning Differences and Special Educational Needs. The fully integrated program allows individuals to develop their social skills, creativity and learning through fun games and activities, which are structured according to age and their skill level. Our highly qualified staff include psychologists, experienced specialist teachers in drama/theatre, counselors, speech therapists, ABA therapists, art therapist, music therapist and sport coaches.
