Job Summary
As a Logistics Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the flow of materials, products, and equipment throughout our manufacturing and supply chain operations.
This is a hands-on role focused on warehouse activities, international shipments, customs processes, and inventory management. Working as part of a small and collaborative logistics team, you will help ensure the timely and compliant movement of highly sensitive products while supporting production and customer requirements across a global business.
Key Responsibilities

General warehouse and logistics activities including order picking, incoming goods inspection, outgoing goods inspection, and loading/unloading of deliveries

Coordinate international customer shipments of highly sensitive products and equipment

Supply materials and goods to production and support the distribution of materials throughout the company

Pack equipment and prepare customer shipments in accordance with quality and transportation requirements

Manage equipment calibrations and repairs, including processing customer returns (RMA)

Handle import and export procedures, including preparation of customs documentation and coordination of shipments

Support warehouse inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records

Store and handle dangerous goods in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements

Support waste disposal and recycling management activities
Qualifications
-
Completed Swiss logistics apprenticeship (Logistiker EFZ) or completed technical vocational training with several years of logistics experience

Professional experience in logistics within an international manufacturing environment

Experience importing and exporting complex machinery and components
Additional Skills & Requirements

Native-level German and good written and spoken English

Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word

Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks. We are looking for an all-rounder who is hands-on, proactive, and willing to contribute wherever needed

Experience supporting projects is advantageous

Strong networking and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely across departments to ensure smooth and efficient operational processes
