As a Laboratory Technician - Physics, you will perform high-precision measurements of ultra-pure water using state-of-the-art instrumentation. Your responsibilities will include operating, calibrating, and maintaining advanced measurement systems, conducting routine and non-routine analyses, and communicating results to support both operational and innovation activities.
In this hands-on role, you will be a key contributor to our Innovation team, supporting experimental design, test setup development, data collection, and analysis. You will also participate in the manufacturing and testing of high-tech products, including mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, integration testing, quality control, and sensor calibration.
Perform high-quality physical measurements (electrical, mechanical, acoustic, and related technologies)
Conduct mechanical assembly, electrical wiring, and testing of instruments and systems
Support Quality Control activities and sensor calibration programs
Assist in the design, assembly, and operation of testing setups
Participate in experimental design, data collection, and interpretation
Prepare technical and analytical reports
Support innovation projects focused on industrial water purification and water quality monitoring
Collaborate with international suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams
Laboratory Technician (CFC) in Physics or a related field, or a Bachelor's degree in Physical Measurements with relevant industrial experience
Experience with physical measurements, instrumentation, and sensor calibration
Experience with microscopy and material characterization techniques (OM, SEM, AFM)
Ability to work in laboratory, cleanroom, and workshop environments
Experience in Quality Control is an advantage
Advanced MS Office skills
Hands-on, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset
Strong sense of ownership and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a dynamic environment
Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%)
Fluent in English; German and/or French is a plus
Swiss or EU citizenship, or a valid Swiss work permit
