The opportunity
The Global Manufacturing Process Lead - GPG DT - Transformer Cores Fabrication is responsible for defining, leading, and continuously improving the end-to-end engineering and manufacturing-related processes for transformers magnetic cores within the Global Product Group (GPG), covering distribution transformers, dry-type transformers, and traction transformers.
This role has a strong focus on core manufacturing processes, including lamination handling, cutting, stacking, core assembly, clamping, insulation interfaces, losses control, dimensional accuracy, and industrialization readiness, ensuring alignment between design, manufacturing, suppliers, and digital platforms.
The position supports the “Design Anywhere, Manufacture Anywhere” strategy by standardizing processes, enabling digital tools, and ensuring that best practices in core manufacturing engineering are consistently deployed across factories worldwide.
The role drives Lean, Digital Transformation, and Value Stream improvements, ensuring speed, quality, and robustness of magnetic core processes while reducing manual activities and variability. Close collaboration with Factory Engineering Process Managers, Digital Transformation Leads, Platform/Tool teams, and Supply Chain is essential.

Your background
- You hold a degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering, or similar. Or you bring equivalent long‑term practical experience.
- You have extensive experience in engineering or manufacturing environments.
- You bring deep exposure to magnetic cores or transformer manufacturing.
- You understand industrial processes for complex electromechanical products.
- You have a strong background in process engineering and continuous improvement.
- You have led complex initiatives across functions and countries.
- You work confidently with digital tools that support engineering and production.
- You communicate clearly and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
