About the Role:
Sicurezza Lavoro Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Chief Legal and Regulatory Affairs Officer to lead the organisation’s legal, regulatory, governance, and compliance activities.
The successful candidate will provide strategic legal advice to senior leadership, oversee regulatory obligations, manage legal risk, and ensure that business activities remain aligned with applicable laws, internal policies, and professional standards.
This is a senior executive role requiring strong commercial judgement, regulatory expertise, and the ability to manage complex legal matters across multiple business functions. You will work closely with executive leadership, external advisers, regulators, and operational teams to support responsible growth and protect the organisation’s interests.
Key Responsibilities:
Legal Strategy: Develop and implement the organisation’s legal strategy in support of commercial objectives, operational priorities, and long-term growth.
Executive Advisory: Provide practical legal guidance to the executive team and senior stakeholders on corporate, contractual, regulatory, employment, and operational matters.
Regulatory Affairs: Monitor regulatory developments, assess their impact on the organisation, and coordinate the implementation of required changes.
Corporate Governance: Maintain governance frameworks, board procedures, delegated authorities, internal policies, and decision-making standards.
Contract Management: Oversee the drafting, review, negotiation, and approval of major commercial agreements, supplier contracts, partnerships, and client arrangements.
Risk Management: Identify legal and regulatory risks, assess their potential impact, and implement appropriate controls and mitigation measures.
Compliance Oversight: Work with compliance and operational teams to ensure that business practices meet legal, regulatory, and ethical requirements.
Regulatory Engagement: Manage relationships with regulators, external legal counsel, professional advisers, and relevant public authorities.
Dispute Management: Oversee litigation, investigations, contractual disputes, claims, and settlement negotiations.
Policy Development: Develop and maintain legal, governance, regulatory, privacy, and corporate conduct policies.
Transaction Support: Provide legal support for acquisitions, restructuring, strategic partnerships, business expansion, and other significant corporate initiatives.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop internal legal and regulatory professionals while managing external advisers and legal service providers.
Reporting: Prepare legal and regulatory updates, risk assessments, executive reports, and board-level recommendations.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience: At least ten years of legal, regulatory, corporate governance, or compliance experience, including significant leadership responsibility.
Education: A recognised law degree and professional legal qualification are required.
Legal Expertise: Strong knowledge of corporate law, commercial contracts, regulatory affairs, governance, risk management, and dispute resolution.
Executive Leadership: Proven ability to advise senior executives, influence strategic decisions, and manage complex legal matters at organisational level.
Commercial Judgement: Ability to balance legal protection with practical business requirements and commercial priorities.
Regulatory Knowledge: Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and translating them into clear operational policies and controls.
Negotiation: Strong experience negotiating complex commercial agreements, settlements, partnerships, and strategic arrangements.
Risk Management: Ability to identify, evaluate, prioritise, and communicate legal and regulatory risks.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent ability to work with executives, board members, regulators, external counsel, clients, and business partners.
Communication: Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and advisory skills, with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
Professional Approach: Commercially aware, discreet, decisive, analytical, and capable of operating effectively in a high-responsibility environment.
Pay: CHF18’000.00 - CHF21’000.00 per month
