About the Role: As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at InvestGlass, you will be the tip of the spear for our sales organization. You will be the first point of contact for potential clients, including wealth managers, private banks, and crypto firms. Your primary objective will be to generate new business opportunities by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing leads. You will use a mix of outbound outreach strategies and inbound lead qualification to set up high-quality meetings for our Account Executives. This role is an excellent stepping stone for a successful career in B2B SaaS sales, offering extensive training on our product, the financial technology landscape, and advanced sales methodologies.
- Proactively identify and prospect new business opportunities through targeted cold calling, personalized email campaigns, and social selling (LinkedIn).
- Qualify inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns, assessing their needs, budget, and timeline to determine if they are a fit for InvestGlass.
- Present our company and value proposition compellingly to potential clients, overcoming initial objections and sparking interest.
- Schedule discovery calls and product demonstrations for Account Executives with qualified decision-makers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and prospect interactions within our own InvestGlass CRM.
- 1 to 3 years of proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Development Rep, or in a similar quota-carrying sales role.
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques, including cold calling, email outreach, and objection handling.
- A track record of consistently achieving or exceeding lead generation and meeting quotas.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and confidently.
- High energy, resilience, and a self-starter mentality with a strong desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced tech environment.
