The In-Store Visual Merchandiser of the Geneva Flagship Store carries out the daily rotation of collections in full alignment with Hermès Group Visual Merchandising guidelines, working closely with the Geneva Store VM Manager, the Switzerland & Central Europe VM Manager, and all store teams.
Support the VM Manager in the preparation and execution of special events, including product launches, commercial events, and in-store animations.
Deliver inspiring, dynamic, and meaningful visual displays, fully consistent with Hermès VM guidelines and aligned with the monthly VM schedule.
Build strong working relationships with all store functions, including Métiers Ambassadors, Sales Advisors, and Stock Teams, to ensure the correct execution of Visual Merchandising activities. Ensure that products, pricing, and stock are properly arranged and consistently maintained, in full compliance with store and company rules.
Consistently document VM work and actively contribute to, develop, animate, and inspire the Visual Merchandising community.
Monitor in-store presentation materials (PLV): ensure correct use, maintenance, timely ordering or replacement when needed, and proper storage, with regular checks performed.
Organize and optimize secondary displays (drawers, concealed shelving, counters), supporting the store in structuring them according to Hermès VM guidelines to facilitate sales. Propose practical solutions regarding space management and product positioning when needed.
Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree, preferably in art, design, fashion, or visual merchandising.
Strong aesthetic sensitivity and creative mindset, with a high level of attention to detail.
Solid understanding of retail dynamics, business challenges, and commercial priorities within a fast-paced store environment.
Proven talent with first experience in Visual Merchandising role, managing complex assortments in a multi-category or multi-store context.
Excellent collaboration and influencing skills, with demonstrated flexibility and the ability to manage the unexpected challenges typical of retail.
Ability to translate global corporate guidelines into relevant and effective local market execution.
Strong problem-solving mindset, hands-on attitude, and ease of approach.
Strong service orientation and natural ability to build trust with store teams.
French and English proficiency are required
Part Time 50% role requiring a 7:00 AM start; flexible schedule across 4-5 days
