InterSoccer is one of Switzerland's leading children's football coaching organisations, delivering weekly football courses, school holiday camps, birthday parties, school programmes and events for Boys & Girls aged 3-13.
We are recruiting Junior & Adult Football Coaches for Autumn 2026 and ongoing opportunities in Basel. We welcome experienced football or sports coaches, teachers, students, youth workers, fitness professionals, semi-retired candidates and people looking for a strong first job in coaching. Junior applicants from age 14 and adult applicants are welcome, subject to role suitability and applicable working requirements.

Who we're looking for
- You enjoy football and working with children aged 3-13.
- You bring energy, positivity and enthusiasm to every session.
- You can make football fun, engaging and inclusive for different ages and abilities.
- You are reliable, responsible, organised and a good team player.
- You communicate clearly with children, parents and colleagues.
- English or German is required; ability to coach in both is a strong advantage.
- Additional languages are a strong advantage.
- Previous football, sports coaching, teaching, childcare or youth-work experience is an advantage.
- Football or sports coaching qualifications are a plus, but are not required for every role.
- You are available on weekday afternoons and/or weekends; school-holiday availability is a major advantage.
- A driving licence is an advantage for some locations and assignments.
What you'll do
- Deliver fun, safe and engaging football sessions for children of different ages and abilities.
- Support or lead weekly after-school and weekend football courses.
- Coach during school holiday camps.
- Support football birthday parties, school programmes and special events where required.
- Follow InterSoccer coaching standards, session plans and safeguarding/safety expectations.
- Help children have fun, make friends, build confidence and develop their football skills.
- Communicate professionally with the InterSoccer team and with parents when appropriate.
What we offer
- CHF 12.92-37.85 gross per hour, depending on InterSoccer Coaching Grade 1-6 (experience).
