How you make an impact
You are responsible for defining, designing, and delivering complete solution architectures, not just individual products. You lead the end-to-end system design, ensuring that hardware, software, connectivity, and data layers work together as a cohesive, scalable solution.
Translate clinical, user and business needs into reference architecture, standards and design frameworks. With a strong system engineering background you are able to converting complex inputs into engineering solutions, like medical devices and its platforms, connectivity modules and data capabilities.
Define the Product Roadmap as technical co-owner in collaboration with Marketing , ensuring alignment with market needs, product requirements, and Medela’s innovation strategy.
Drive the innovation strategy in connected and data-driven solutions. You lead the transition from standalone devices to connected, intelligent systems including data-enabled insights, digital services and integration into broader care or user ecosystems.
Build and orchestrate key capabilities across internal teams and external partners, ensuring the right expertise, technologies, and collaborations are in place to deliver next-generation solutions.
Location
This is a Baar-based hybrid role, with several in-office days each week to enable rapid collaboration
What you bring along
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 10 years in Product and Project Management and 3–5 years of leadership experience in a highly regulated industry, preferably medical devices.
Proficiency in English, German is a plus, solid knowledge of quality management systems and regulations, as well as organizational or process design expertise.
Strong leadership skills, ability to collaborate across functions, capability to translate business/customer needs into engineering actions.
