Test coverage: Review the unit and integration tests written by developers, contributing tests where needed — including Qt logic and GUI tests — and continuously test the application during development

Test infrastructure: Improve and extend hardware-in-the-loop (HiL) and software-in-the-loop (SiL) testing

Performance & stress testing: Verify response times, rendering performance, memory usage and leaks, navigation accuracy under different conditions, and long-term stability

Clinical validation: Test the system along real clinical workflows, from the end user’s perspective
-
Release V&V: Lead verification and validation during the annual release and own the related V&V documentation

Field analysis: Investigate field complaints, support the resulting investigations, and improve log files and diagnostics
-
Fault localization: Identify whether issues sit in software, electronics, mechanics, or setup, including network and operating-system troubleshooting

Collaboration: Work closely with the Software, Systems, Hardware, and Quality teams

Degree in Systems, Electrical, Computer, or Biomedical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field

5+ years of experience in software verification and validation in a regulated industry (e.g. medical, aerospace, automotive)

Hands-on testing experience, including automation/scripting (e.g. Python) and performance/stress testing

Solid troubleshooting across networks (e.g. Ethernet) and Windows, with working knowledge of electronics and mechanics to help localize faults

Understanding of clinical workflows and medical imaging, able to test from the user’s perspective

Familiarity with traceability and defect-tracking tools is a plus

Structured and precise working style with strong documentation discipline
