About the Role
We are looking for enthusiastic and service-oriented Pool Attendants to join the wellness and outdoor spa team of a luxury hospitality destination in Switzerland.
This guest-facing role is responsible for ensuring that guests enjoy an exceptional experience in the pool, spa, and outdoor wellness areas. The successful candidates will provide attentive service, assist with food and beverage requests, maintain cleanliness and presentation standards, and help create a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with hospitality, restaurant, spa, leisure, or guest service experience who enjoy interacting with guests in a luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Service
- Welcome and assist guests in the pool and outdoor spa areas.
- Provide attentive, professional, and personalised service throughout the guest experience.
- Ensure guests are comfortable and have everything they need during their visit.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and enquiries.
- Maintain a visible presence in the pool and wellness areas to provide assistance when required.
Food & Beverage Service
- Serve drinks and light refreshments to guests in the pool and outdoor spa areas.
- Take guest orders and communicate effectively with the bar and service teams.
- Deliver food and beverages according to luxury service standards.
- Ensure poolside service areas remain clean, organised, and well-stocked.
Pool & Spa Area Presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of pool decks, loungers, towels, and guest areas.
- Ensure towels, amenities, and guest supplies are available at all times.
- Monitor the overall appearance of the pool and spa environment.
- Report maintenance, safety, or cleanliness issues to the appropriate department.
Health & Safety
- Ensure guest areas remain safe and tidy throughout the day.
- Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures.
- Assist in maintaining a secure and welcoming environment for guests.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with Spa, Wellness, Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, and Operations teams.
- Support special events and guest activities within the wellness areas.
- Assist colleagues during busy periods when required.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage service, guest relations, spa operations, leisure facilities, or luxury hotels.
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for guest interaction.
- Friendly, professional, and well-presented.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in a wellness environment.
- Able to work independently while maintaining high service standards.
- Flexible, reliable, and team-oriented.
Language Requirements
- Fluent German strongly preferred
- English required
- Additional languages are an advantage
