Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate service work done at site and ensure it complies with ABB's and customer’s guidelines. Each day, you will act as a single point of contact for the customer during the execution of a service job. You will also showcase your expertise by leading and delivering responsive support coordination to exceed customer expectations/experience.
The work model for the role is: hybrid
This role is contributing to the Electrification Service in Zuzwil (St. Gallen) or Baden (Aargau).
You will be mainly accountable for:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate service technicians across Switzerland, taking into account availability, qualifications, location, and service priority.
Organize and manage service orders, including preventive maintenance, repairs, and installations in the medium- and low-voltage sector.
Closely collaborate with internal customers (e.g., project managers) and the service team to ensure the efficient planning and execution of daily service activities.
Act as a central point of coordination, continuously monitoring resource allocation and responding flexibly to changing requirements, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and business success.
Your Qualifications
Completed technical or commercial vocational education/training.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in service planning, for example as a Service Dispatcher, Service Coordinator, or in a similar role.
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience in the maintenance, service, commissioning, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, combined with the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems; experience with Salesforce is an advantage.
Fluent in German, both written and spoken; good command of English and French is considered a plus.
