About the Role
The Planner Office is one of Siemens Smart Infrastructure Buildings’ strategic growth initiatives, designed to strengthen engagement with planners, consultants, designers and other specification influencers worldwide and increase Siemens’ influence in the early project phase.
As part of the Global Planner Office Team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues across Marketing, Sales, Product Management and regional organizations. Together, we develop new initiatives and identify opportunities to strengthen Siemens’ collaboration with planners, consultants, designers and other specification influencers around the world.

Your Mission
Help shape and scale Siemens’ global Planner Office ecosystem by driving collaboration across regions and strengthening our engagement with planners, consultants, designers and other specification influencers worldwide.

Drive Planner Office Growth

Support the rollout and continuous development of Planner Offices across our global organization
- Help local teams increase their maturity and maximize business impact
Shape the Future of Planner Engagement

Contribute to new concepts and engagement approaches for planners and consultants
- Identify opportunities to strengthen Siemens' early-phase influence and consultant engagement
- Collaborate across HQ functions, regional organizations and the global Planner Office network
Your skills and experience:
-
5+ years of experience in the Smart Buildings industry, ideally gained within a planning office, consulting company, engineering firm, design office or customer-facing Siemens role. First-hand experience working with planners, consultants or designers is highly valued
- A broad understanding of Smart Building technologies, solutions, specification processes and consultant needs
- A natural relationship builder with the ability to establish trust and collaborate effectively across functions, countries and cultures
- A proactive team player who enjoys taking ownership, driving initiatives forward and turning ideas into action
- Experienced in navigating complex matrix organizations, influencing stakeholders and achieving results without direct authority
- An excellent communicator, capable of translating complex topics into clear and compelling messages for different audiences
- A curious and entrepreneurial mindset, energized by shaping new concepts, challenging the status quo and creating impact
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Familiarity with sales processes, CRM tools and business workflows
- Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g. German) are considered a plus
- Travel activity ca. 30%
- Start upon agreement

Location: this role can be based in Zug/Switzerland or Frankfurt am Main/Germany. Please note that qualified candidates need to be legally eligible for work authorization in the respective location. Relocation is not required.
