The Intern Pricing Analyst – Securities Master File (6 months) is a critical role within the bank’s Private Banking domain, responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of security prices across all asset types.
Embedded in the Securities Master File team, this role focuses on the full pricing lifecycle: sourcing, validation, monitoring, exception handling, and controls (including delta checks, missing and stale prices), ensuring robust data quality for front office, risk, operations, performance, and client reporting.

- Key Responsibilities
- Ensure daily acquisition and validation of prices for all in-scope instruments (equities, fixed income, funds, ETFs, money market, structured products, derivatives, private placement, hedge funds).
- Execute daily pricing control framework:
- Delta price checks vs prior valid prices and tolerances.
- Missing and stale price detection and remediation.
- Ensure pricing hierarchy is well applied according to approved sourcing policies.
- Investigate discrepancies between vendors and coordinate vendor queries, challenges, and corrections.
- Resolve breaks by applying alternative sources, manual validation, or price challenges; document rationales and evidence.
- Pricing exceptions; perform root-cause analysis (stale feeds, mapping, instrument reference data gaps, pricing source provider).
- Coordinate with Corporate Actions, Fund Desk, and Operations to align price effective dates and event impacts (splits, coupons, redemptions, suspensions).
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly pricing quality KPIs and attestations (e.g., completeness %, stale rate, exception aging, SLA adherence).
- Contribute to enhancement of pricing rules, dashboards, and controls to reduce false positives and improve STP.
- Participate in testing and validation of system changes impacting pricing
- Update and maintain operational procedures (process flows, risks, controls, KPIs) specific to pricing.
